Express Eventing all kitted up

Equestrian clothing brand Musto has created a fashionable new range of high performance sports clothing for the world’s top riders to wear for the Express Eventing International Cup.

The specialist clothing manufacturer, which has been named as the official sports clothing supplier for Express Eventing, has designed something fresh and exciting for the fast-paced, glamorous new form of the sport, which will be launched under the roof of the Millennium Stadium on 30 November.

Nowhere else will you be able to see some of the world’s greatest names in equestrian competing together – including British Olympic medallists William Fox-Pitt, Mary King and Tina Cook and eventing legend Mark Todd.

Cross-country top

Twenty of the world’s top riders will take part, promising sport and entertainment at it very best. Musto sponsored William Fox-Pitt said: “Express Eventing is quite different from the traditional sport, so it is great to see these new outfits specifically designed for the event. Not only do the new designs look good, but the innovative technology used by Musto will be a huge bonus for all riders. It’s great that they’re supporting this new initiative.”

Vice Chairman Nigel Musto said: “This is a new development in the world of eventing and I am delighted that Musto is involved. Express Eventing and Musto are both determined to bring the benefits of innovation to the equestrian world and the Millennium Stadium will be a fitting arena for a world-class event.”

Show jumping jacket

Express Eventing, in conjunction with British Eventing, condenses all the skills and excitement of traditional eventing into just half a day under the roof of the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

For the very first time, spectators will be able to watch all three disciplines – dressage, show jumping and cross-country - from one seat, and follow the progress of every horse and rider at each stage of the competition. Helped by expert commentaries, stadium audio visual technology and a simplified scoring system, they will know exactly what each competitor needs to do to win.
