

Swedish Olympian Linda Algotsson started to ride before she could walk on her parent’s farm and started competing at just 12.
Linda won the Nordic Championship when she was 17 and when she was 18, she won the European Championships for young riders.
Since then she has earned five more European Championships medals. Since 1989 she has been one of the best in the National Team in Sweden and has participated in the Olympic Summer Games twice—Atlanta 1996 and Athens 2004. Her best standing is seventh place with her horse, Lafayett.
Linda has two individual European Championship silver medals, four Swedish Championship gold medals, and many victories in top international competitions. As her biggest achievement, Linda counts her two victories in the 2003 and 2004 World Cup Finals.
