

Nicolas Touzaint was the first Frenchman to win one of the most prestigious three-day eventing competitions in the world this year – Badminton.
The talented 28-year-old won the CCI **** with Isle of Hildago. Nicolas was unable to continue his successful start to the year at the Beijing Olympics, withdrawing after an injury to his horse Galan de Sauvagère.
Nicolas, who started riding professionally when he left college five years ago, was always destined to be a successful rider. His father Jean-Yves was a famer and eventing champion, his mother a former cavalier and his uncle Thierry is a coach.
Nicolas has won the European Championships, an Olympic gold medal and was ranked 3rd in the world in 2007.
