Italian rider Vittoria Panizzon is one of the youngest riders in the Express Eventing International Cup.

The 25-year-old competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics with her horse, Rock Model, coming 16th overall. She was also a member of the team that won the bronze medal for Italy in the recent European championships.

The Hampshire-based rider has represented her country at Pony, Junior, Young rider and Senior levels and has been a member of the national senior squad at major championships since 2005.

Vittoria’s father was Italian, her mother is Scottish and she grew up in Italy. At the age of 17, she moved to the UK to finish her education and to further her eventing career. She Vittoria graduated in 2005 from Bristol University with a degree in Biology and is a member of the Italian Air Force sport group with the rank of First Aviator.

Vittoria currently has three Advanced rides, two of her own – Rock Model and King of the Castle, and one she rides for Brenda Young - Palomino Malt on the Rocks.
